The
primary object of the Blue Badge Network is to assist all disabled
people, and their families, of all ages. To help them integrate
more effectively with society through the European Union, by
co-operation, to overcome access and mobility problems. The
Network also seeks to maintain the integrity and validity of
the concessionary
parking permit by the prevention of fraud and misuse
of this valuable asset.
The Blue Badge Network is not affiliated to any other organisation
and does not have links to any other charities, or membership
clubs.
President – Miss Anne Begg, MP
Since the General Election of 2005, Anne, who represents Aberdeen
South, has been our President.
As a holder of the Orange, then Blue, Badge for over 30 years,
Anne is all too aware of the issues facing those who value the
privileges ownership bestows and is therefore able to speak
on our behalf on this basis as well as that of politician.
Vice President – Ross Cranston, QC

Ross, who served us enthusiastically as President until he stood
down as an MP in 2005, is still very pro-active on our behalf
and a great encourager in all we do.
